MYSE.NET formally simplyeffective.net was origanlly a web design company started in 1999. From web design we found it logical to host the website we designed so around the year 2000 we launched 999amonth.com a web hosting company primarily getting our business through word of month from other web developers.

A lot has changed from when web designers designed a webpage that was never changed. In most cases by that time a website owner wanted to make changes to their site. They could not find the person who created their website to make changes.

In this day in age I'm not sure if we have web designers, I think in most cases we have web developers and CMS (Content Management Systems) no more static web pages. Another big change and a profitable one for many is blogging. Apple Inc. helped make Podcasting easy for people to create and post for the masses to enjoy. Digital Cameras and the web made it possible for anyone who wanted to learn could become a photographer. What do these folks have in common? They use the web to share there work or interests with others.

This is why we decided to become professionals with CMS (Content Management Systems) the two we currently support are Joomla and Wordpress.
